Get an Ad Blocker

How to choose one?

  • If you want: a user-friendly blocker that "just works", pick Adblock Plus.
  • If you want: very fine-grained control to allow or block ads in specific circumstances, pick AdBlock.
  • If you want: absolutely no ads, never needing to disable the blocker, at the cost of a less user-friendly experience, pick uBlock Origin.

On mobile devices, the situation is different:

  • If you have Chrome, you will need to switch to one of the other browsers listed below or just ignore the ads.
  • If you have Firefox, just use the desktop links. Mobile Firefox supports desktop extensions.
  • If you have Edge, Adblock Plus is installed by default, but disabled. See how to enable it.
  • If you have Samsung Internet, you can install either AdBlock or Adblock Plus. See how to do it.
  • If you are OK with changing browsers, you can install Adblock Browser for Android or iOS, which has Adblock Plus built-in.
